I’m Arlind. I’ve spent my career building software, first as an engineer and for the last few years as the engineering manager of a small product team. I still write code most weeks, mostly Python and Django, and I review a lot more of it than I write.

This site is where I keep the things I’d otherwise explain in Slack threads that nobody can find again. Some posts are technical, with code. Others are about how teams, roadmaps, and customers behave in practice, which is the other half of the job.

Everything here is based on things that actually happened, with names, products, and details changed enough that nobody involved can be identified. The lessons are real. The stories are deliberately generic.
